hi thanks for the reply ive check the air box for traped pipes ect nothing wrong there [the throttle snaps shut ] i started it today and it still does the same thing so if the tech is right how long will it take for the electric brain of the bike to sort its self out if ever [theres no leak on the headers]

I have the same problem. 2010 S1k with PC5 and full system. Only happened after recent service. Takes 10 sec to drop from about 2000rpms to 1100 RPMs. Worst thing is that when I am riding it stays at 2000rpms forever after letting off the throttle a acts like a cruise control. Not good. Dealer has had a quick look but couldn't sort

Sticking throttle

I had/have this. Been a track bike for 8mths, new engine fitted and dealer stated this problem. Said i never had it before but supposedly on track its never in that situation. They said they had come across it before and it's a fuel pump problem. With electronics to-day who am i to argue? I can live with it at the moment.
